There is currently a power outage in the town of Gassaway. At the time the outage occurred, students had already been loaded onto buses and were on their way to school.
We are in contact with MonPower and the superintendent of schools. At this time, restoration of power is expected sometime this morning.
Our kitchen staff already has breakfast prepared and ready for students upon arrival. We will continue with the school day as planned.
If anything changes, we will notify families immediately. Thank you, and have a great day.

To maintain a safe and orderly dismissal process, parking in the Parent Pick-Up lot is restricted after 3:10 PM daily. This area must remain clear so students can move safely to their pick-up locations beginning at 3:20 PM.
If you are picking up your child, please park off Elk Street or off 5th Street. Keeping the lot clear ensures that dismissal runs safely and efficiently for all students.
Thank you for your cooperation in supporting a safe dismissal routine.
