Braxton County Schools is pleased to offer parents the opportunity to complete the majority of the 2024-2025 beginning of the year school packets online. This is an option for all parents and only requires an internet connection. No downloading or printing is necessary. Parents also have the option to receive paper packets with all forms and informational documents as they have in the past by making a request to the school.
To launch the packet online, please click this link https://app.droplet.io/form/NP1EWK . You will need to complete this packet launcher for EACH student you have enrolled. The packet will be sent to the email address you entered into the packet launcher. From there, you will be able to complete all the forms necessary.
By completing this process this year, Braxton County Schools will be able to send you your child’s pre-populated packet to make your experience better for the next school year. The beginning of the year packets for 2024-2025 will also be available on the Braxton County website.

We are very excited to welcome all of our students back tomorrow to Davis Elementary. We will be having doughnut holes for breakfast and pepperoni roll and macaroni cheese for lunch. Our 2023-2024 School Year at Davis Elementary is quickly coming to an end. Just a few reminders, Pk Awards day will be on Thursday 9-10. 3-5 grade Awards will now be on Friday at 9:00 in the gym due to weather concerns. Also, K-2 Awards will be on Friday at 10:00 in the gym. Hope to see you then. Finally, if your child has medication at school, please make arrangements to stop by to sign out their medication by Friday, May 24.
Remember all 3-5th graders begin WVGSA tomorrow. Your child must be at school by 8:00 am. Please make sure they get a good night's sleep, eat breakfast at home or school, and are at school on time. Students that are here each day on time, and try their best by taking their time will be awarded a field trip to Skateland. Let's Go Dragons, you got this!
Just a friendly reminder that Thursday, May 9 our PK-2 graders will be traveling on a field trip to Cartoon Headquarters. Parents, please make sure your child's permission form and waiver checkoff sheet have been returned to school by Tuesday, May 7. Due to the cancellation of school on Friday, April 12, our menu for Monday, April 15 will be hotdogs, chili, beans and potato rounds. Have a wonderful weekend, and we'll see all of our Dragons on Monday.
I want to send a huge shout out to our Davis Dragon families that showed up and helped our students celebrate Easter. The staff sincerely appreciated the help with classroom activities, egg hiding, egg counting and classroom snacks. We couldn't do it without you. Also, a sincere thanks to our school parent volunteer, Daisy Thomas, for helping pop popcorn and our third and fourth grade art auction projects. You are awesome.

Davis Elementary Dragons are headed to the Days Inn for a fabulous opportunity on Tuesday, March 12. They will be participating in Clay2Go. Please remember if your child marked to bring a packed lunch, make sure to send them with a lunch. Our cooks are preparing bag lunches for those that marked school lunch.
